ezForward allows you to forward a domain name to an existing website, forward email sent to that domain to another email address, or both. There’s no technical setup required — our built-in setup wizard guides you through the process step by step and takes care of the DNS for you.

Prerequisites
Before using Hipposerve ezForward™, you’ll need:
- A domain name registered with Hipposerve
- The domain using Hipposerve nameservers
- Correct DNS records (don’t worry — the setup wizard handles this for you)
Important points to note
- Website forwarding:
You should not use domain forwarding if the domain is already pointing to an active website. Enabling forwarding will stop the original website from working. - Email forwarding:
You should not use email forwarding if the domain is already being used with another email service (including Hippo Mail). Doing so will prevent that email service from working correctly. - Alternative option:
If you are using Hippo Mail and simply want to forward emails, you can set this up within the mailbox itself instead. See this guide:

Email forwarding disclaimer
Please note: While Hipposerve uses a range of tools and best-practice techniques to improve email deliverability, email forwarding is never as robust as using dedicated mailboxes.
This is because forwarded email relies on multiple mail systems accepting and passing messages on correctly, which can occasionally impact reliability, spam filtering, or delivery confirmation.
Email forwarding should never be used as a primary or business-critical email solution. If reliable email delivery is essential, we strongly recommend using dedicated mailboxes instead.
